SOAPBOX #2

I have been informed as of late, that BLOGs are gay.
I agree.
My wife is a beard & my four kids are props.

While most were growing tired of BLOGs, I still had my nose buried in books... remember those?
I have a vast library of photos & thoughts yet to share, and as of this writing over 170 people actually care, or at least, I must make for light entertainment or mild amusement.

When it comes to modern technology, I must admit, I lack.

Entering an APPLE store is traumatic for me.
I want to commit a bit of the old ultra violence when I see the robot hoard waiting to descend upon me.

An I-Phone is like panties or socks... use them once, throw them away.
Now Levis should never be washed, but should never be disposed of either, they must wrought off the body.

Back to techno.

Thanks to some phrase "Synching with Mobile me" I have some guys number who I'll never call four times & my Mom's cell number is now gone.

"YESTERDAY'S TECHNOLOGY TODAY" I live by that mantra...
I like hearing Cole, Jason or Rico argue about the the phrase, better than the phrase itself, but never the less, it sums us up.

So forgive me for jumping on the johnny-come-lately, trendy band wagon that is bloggling...
but perhaps for that very reason, it is not cool, is what makes it finally perfect for me to accept.

  4. I look at your blog at least once a week. I think it's great stuff. Wish you'd write more actually, explain more stuff.

I have a blog too which I write in constantly for nobody but myself. Don't know if four other people ever look at it.

  6. Jeff, I check your blog everyday along with a few others. I don't tweet, tweater, facebook, or any of that shit. I read books like they're water, write with a pencil, and think mailing and receiving actual letters are where it's at. But I will say this for blogs, they now make history and historical items avaliable to the masses. They educate the youngster coming up in a way that could never be done before. They also have opened up the world to everyone with a one-eyed wonder. It's a great way to pass on all these hard learned and accumulated facts some of us pre-schooler came(from them that were older than us) by before we're gone and it's lost. Keep it up. I enjoy your collection and work.

  10. We need guys like you posting on blogs, as we need magazine to get connected to the others guys who are in the same way of life. Our society for the last 20, 30 years make us more independant but that's not the thrue. We need always some heroes who drove the people close to freedom. And that's what I saw on most of blogs like COC, 4Q, Dice etc. It's about never forget or the more later possible how was freedom. Afteer it also will be the light when came the chaos. So do what you want, fuck the modern rules but we'd never stop appreciate your work. Freaky Rico

  11. Yours is one of about 4 blogs that I check a few times a week. I really like yours because honestly, you have stuff that no one else does. The collection of club colors blows my mind every time you put a pic up of a new one. I enjoy reading what you write too so keep up the good work and don't worry about people. People talk trash because they have nothing in their lives to talk good about.

  12. Blogs are like tattoos. It's a new part of popular culture and it's a tool we all have available to us. In the end most folks have a Tasmanian devil holding a surf board; or maybe a tribal arm band you can only see when they wear a muscle shirt; but among the sea of undefined Asian symbols and barbed wire strands, there's a few really cool ones to look at.

  14. it's what all the other blogers learn after they know it all that's important. You have honest knowledge babe, share on! I still like learning, more than just about anything.

  15. Being gay is gay. Everything else is just self-indulgence. Including this clever comment.

  16. I agree with Rich O. The modern technology can be used, just like any good tool can be used. I've recently created a basic site to share some 100 year old info. Nobody reads it, but I'll continue for a while. It's better than spending my time watching the tv.

    ciao,
    Pete

  17. I'm not listed as one of your followers but I do link to your blog from mine. Think of a blog as a communication tool, like a phone, or a book. It's great to know what you are working on as it happens instead of waiting for it to maybe show up in a magazine (newsstand or online) and there are thousands of other builders/artists that I can say that about.
