I have finally begun a piece very dear to me.

NEAT NEAT NEAT

HELL'S UNION

Finally the latest book is in color. Using a early 4 X 5 film camera. Primarily early 1%er cuts.
Going to print 200 in this GALLEY EDITION... 90 are on their way to Japan.
Using real film & color print is considerably more expensive than digital! The difference is money well spent.
I'm my opinion, these cuts represent the finest expression of American motorcycle folk art.

MY LITTLE DROOGIE

This is the cover of the American version of Anthony Burgess' novel... the copy Stanley Kubrick used as a script.
Note the cheesy artist's rendition of a violent MC youth gang.
The photo is a real to life image of a bike rider from the era.
Art imitates Life, far more than, "Life imitates Art"
Your teachers had it all wrong.

WORK IN PROGRESS

When Oakland had their 50th, I did a 3 foot one off Deathead, casting the head dress in bronze & the skull in stainless steel. I created another with out a mold, entirely from scratch again for the NYC HAMC's 40th coming this December.
What you see are the rough casting pre metal chase. Hours of welding & retexturing and patination are to follow.
